A couple of days before Lindsay and John's wedding, I got an email from Lindsay. The hotel where she was supposed to be getting ready, had been flooded. This was about the only hitch to their picture perfect wedding at the end of September. And so I started my day with the girls in the Malmaison - which wasn't a bad second choice :) With their make up and hair in safe hands, the girls relaxed in Lindsay's two level suite. I love the atmosphere in the morning of a wedding and this was no exception - everyone is in a super mood, and there's so much anticipation in the air!
Eventually it was time for me to head off to the House for an Lover, where I caught up with John and his groomsmen. John was down one man as his Best Man had just become a dad during the night, and therefore couldn't make it to the wedding. One of his ushers had hence been promoted to Best Man - imagine finding out the night before that you have to write a Best Man's speech for the next day! Not for the faint hearted but boy did he pull it off!
On top of everything it was great fun to be back at House for an Art Lover - the venue is very elegant, the grounds and rooms are great for the photos regardless of the weather and the food is yum :)
Lindsay & John - thanks for a fab wedding, and for giving me complete creative freedom to capture it for you... this was such a pleasure! Hope you enjoy your preview!
