Rittergut Altenrode is a slightly remote and rustic location near Wolfenbüttel in the countryside. Couples can have their ceremony in the garden, which feels very private and romantic.
Natalia and Carlo injected their impeccable taste into their wedding day. The colours of pink and green harmonised beautifully with the surroundings. I had been following both of them on Instagram and was really excited about seeing Natalia's Pronovias dress, which she had bought back in Spain.
My morning started with covering Natalia getting ready at imposing Hotel Deutsches Haus in central Braunschweig, where she was styled by lovely Linda Jedermann. I loved when all her friends came to add the finishing touches to her outfit!
A vintage wedding car courtesy of Thulke took Natalia and her parents to Gut Altenrode. The ceremony set up was styled beautifully by Katja Gordian, who did all the flower decorations. I loved the boho chic charm and the copper candelabras.
After a very personal ceremony officiated by Elke Rott, Natalia, Carlo and I went for a little drive in their car and took some portraits in the forests and fields surrounding the venue.
The party continued with a barbecue and a lot of Spanish music! I really enjoyed all the little Spanish touches and traditions.
What an honour and pleasure it was to be part of this wedding. I hope you enjoy scrolling through this little piece of summer as much as I do!
