It was an absolute delight to photograph Melissa and Callum's engagement session in Edinburgh's Botanic Gardens. The weather forecast was proven yet again as completely wrong - as we soaked up the sunshine! This continues my recent lucky streak of beautiful weather - long may it last!! Melissa had taken great care to plan the session, including scheduling her make up trial to coincide with it, and she looked amazing! They had also brought along a few props which we incorporated into the pictures. Hence you can see them "tying the knot", "jumping over the broom" and "dropping the anchor"... Get it?! :) How sweet an idea is that!
It was both mine and Melissa and Callum's first time in Edinburgh's Botanic Gardens.. and we managed to get lost on the way out, hehe! However when we eventually found the exit, Melissa was rewarded with an ice cream van and I just couldn't resist taking a few final pictures.
Really looking forward to their wedding in October in the atmospheric Caves in Edinburgh. It's going to be magical!
